Fall

The Gunnison & Ohio Creek valleys from our land on a rainy fall day

.3 October 2006, Excavation for the shop/ studio begins

We've finally secured our building permit and can start digging-- that's Matt on the mini excavator and our friend Charlie's big excavator. The shop/ studio will be 25x50 feet with a shed roof; the temporary 2x4 structure in the last image shows how high the high edge of the shop roof will stand.

Our land at 909 Seneca Drive, Gunnison CO

Pictures taken in May before we purchased the 4.3 acres.

First three images are views of the Ohio Creek valley looking out from our land; fourth image is taken from the road looking up at our land and BLM land beyond. The existing shed houses a well, but will be moved before we build the house.
